Main Parts of Constructions
When working in a construction projects, it is normal for a worker to encounter differentiate the parts of a building during construction. But people outside of it are still unaware of the parts of a building aside from the common ideas. Also, they are unaware of what materials make the walls harder, what makes the lights hang, how the lights are available in every room in the house. There are things that the workers know that we don’t. The whole house will be the combination of all the materials that are needed. The combination of materials creates or builds the different parts of the house. This article will discuss the common building parts in construction. It is commonly divided into three categories.
First is the backbone of the building. The backbone or foundation is usually built with steel bars or metal bars connected to each other forming the base or the brace of the building. It must be strong and stable to withstand different elements such as weathering, long years and disasters such storms, earthquakes, hurricanes and other natural disasters that may test the strength of the building.
This part of the building is the first one laid or constructed during construction. The foundation is laid in the ground then covered in cement to maintain the sturdiness as it is anchored to the ground. It oftentimes takes a few days to harden or to dry then the next part will be included.
Second is the body of the building. Built on cement, plywood and other polyester or carbon designed walls. This part of the house hides the foundation by covering it and placing substance and built into the structure. The body includes the walls, ceiling, floors, windows, doors porch and the roof. You may have a two story building for your body. The important idea is that the body be as sturdy as the foundation. The body of the house will take the longest time to take form. The greater part of the skilled workers works on this part of the house.
Last, the spirit of the building means to the design, structure and details that has been given to it through properly laid out plans. These designs include the color of the paint, combinations and of them swirled together in one beautiful masterpiece. Also, the design also includes that of the carefully lain details on the walls, on the entrance of the house as well as the details given into the rooms.
